Teh Maquette

This is my project fer the past couple weeks. I've obsessed over it much like I do with every project, so I might have overdone it, but enh. This is before I've glazed over it with terpinoid and baked it. I'm a lil scared to bake it after all I went through to make it.

The original turnaround is a bit big, so if I do post it up, it'll probably be on my Deviantart account.

EDIT: Also, she may seem a lil strange cause she ain't got her props in the picture. She's supposed to be holding a metal chain along with a toy machete I took from a G.I. Joe.

Naw, It's made outta Super Sculpty. It's got 3 large wires as it's base with Propoxy holding it together (Propoxy smells bad.) After that, There's a small bronze wire wrapping around the entire thing to give it more tooth. Now, ater that there's the super sculpy on the outside. After that, I baked it at the lowest temperature the oven could do fer like, an hour and a half to harden it. The time it takes varies from project to project.

But yeah, this is Cassie (She's a character I had already designed) before I fired her and gave her some finishing touches.

In the final, she's holding a nice big chain, and in that piece in her back pocket, she has a machete.

I can't wait to see it finished. Once its baked its rock hard right? I have never really used the sculpty stuff much, you seem to have lots of detail. So the stuff seems pretty versatile. Way cool!!!

It's actually still pretty fragile. I accidentally took off one of her hairs and part of her belt after it was baked. Lucky fer me, I have some superglue.
